Fit

Working Well Together

I tend to work best with adults who want to understand the emotional patterns beneath their struggles while also creating practical, meaningful change, and being clear about fit at the start saves both of us time.

This tends to work well if you

  • Want to understand what is happening beneath a pattern, along with talking about it
  • Are willing to notice your own part in what repeats, even when that feels uncomfortable
  • Can attend consistently, since sessions build on one another
  • Are open to trying new ways of relating between sessions as well as during them

This is probably not the right fit if you

  • Are looking for occasional check-ins without wanting to explore emotions in more depth
  • Are not currently interested in looking at your own patterns
  • Need active crisis or safety support, in which case I will help you find the right level of care
  • Are hoping for a quick solution, since lasting emotional change tends to take time
