Background

I'm a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) in Florida, practicing under the supervision of a licensed clinician while I complete the hours required for full licensure. I completed my graduate training in counseling at Northwestern University and my undergraduate degree at the University of Florida.

I work primarily with adults dealing with an anxious attachment style, anxiety, and self-doubt. My approach draws on attachment theory, and I'm continuing post-graduate training in attachment-based, emotion-focused, and compassion-based methods.

I don't treat insight as the end goal. My work focuses on connecting understanding to what's happening in the body and in your relationships now, so change shows up in daily life, not just in how you talk about yourself. Underneath that, I'm always curious about how someone's early relationships shaped their current patterns, and what those patterns are still trying to accomplish. I also pay attention to what happens between us in the room, since it often reflects something real about how you relate to people outside of it.
