Anxious Attachment
A few things that tend to help this conversation go better.
Once someone learns the language of attachment styles, there's a temptation to use it as an explanation for every conflict, or worse, as ammunition. "You're being avoidant" lands very differently than "I noticed I get really anxious when you go quiet, and I wanted to talk about that with you." Same information, very different conversation.
If attachment language starts becoming a way to win arguments rather than understand each other, that's worth noticing. The goal of naming the pattern is to build more accurate empathy, both directions, not to have a more sophisticated way to be right. If it's becoming a recurring source of conflict rather than clarity, that's often a good thing to bring into individual or couples work directly.
